Chris Brown Ordered To Pay $35,000 To New Caretakers Of His Pet Monkey
Chris Brown has reached a plea deal with Los Angeles prosecutors, to avoid jail time, for the case where he was charged with illegally having a pet monkey in his home.
The 30-year old singer's case was in court today, where it was announced he had struck the deal with prosecutor's in which he was ordered to attend a six-month formal diversion program. Along with the program, Brown has to pay $35,000 towards the care of his monkey.
Brown's capuchin monkey has been placed in a specialized retreat for primates by the California State Department of Fish and Wildlife. Chris's attorney says he has already paid the money.
Terms of the deal include the charges being dismissed if the singer does not violate the terms of the agreement and does not possess any other non-permitted animals. Interestingly, the deal did not restrict Brown's ability to own a monkey in the future, just that it must be permitted and not endangered. BTW, its name is Fiji.

Chris's Daughter With 'Fiji' The Monkey
Brown was charged last year with two misdemeanor counts of possessing the illegal monkey without a permit. At the time, it was reported, authorities were preparing to raid the singer's home after several people reported he had the animal. He is said to have avoided the raid after he voluntarily surrendered it.
A picture of Brown's daughter Royalty with the monkey was posted on his social media, causing several people to report the animal to authorities.
At the time, Chris said the picture was taken in Nevada at a relatives home, who is the rightful owner of the monkey.
The case will be dismissed on June 6, if Brown does not violate the agreement.
Brown's Family Is Growing....
Chris Brown and girlfriend Ammika Harris, welcomed a new baby boy into the world this month and reports are the couple named the baby, Aeko.
Harris hasn't directly commented about the birth, but this week she revealed to she was going through what all new moms do...no sleep, cleaning, and feeding the baby.
The model simply told fans, she was “TIRED.”
Chris has not addressed the birth either but did post a picture of himself with a hoodie with the word, "Born" written on it.

The singer posted a new photo of his daughter, Royalty Brown, all decked out in her holiday princess attire, where she posed next to Santa Claus.
The 5-year-old posed with the Santa wearing a red poofy dress and a black bow."Miss BOO THANG," Brown captioned the photo.
Several fans commented about the cute photo on the singer's social media, "She has turned into such a beautiful beautiful girl!!" one person wrote.
"She’s growing up so fast 😍✨," another added. "RoRo she's absolutely stunning. Such a proud papa."
On Royalty's official Instagram page, her mother Nia Guzman, posted another photo of her and Brown's girl talking to the big man. We are guessing she is telling him what she wants for Christmas!
