Chris Brown Announces ’11:11′ Album Dropping Two Days Earlier Than Expected

Chris Brown is doing something special for Team Breezy, as he’s delivering his 11th studio album 11:11 two days earlier than its initial Nov. 11 release date. The album will now arrive tonight (Nov. 9).

Brown took to Instagram, announcing the news on Wednesday night (Nov. 8).

“GIVING YALL THE ALBUM EARLY… Drops tomorrow night at 9 west coast/ 12:00 midnight eastern,” he captioned a video of him walking and talking to the camera. “The album was supposed to drop Saturday… but we dropping early. I’m just correcting what I said in the post.”

As most fans were excited to get their hands on the LP early, others were willing to wait until Nov. 11 to listen to the project.

“Damn I liked the 11:11 at 11:11 concept,” one person commented as another wrote, “Something tells me he should stick with releasing it on 11:11 but I understand. I was willing wait a few more days. As much as I love this guy!! I’m grateful either way.”

The album, which plays on the number 11, has generated much anticipation as the “Call Me Everyday” crooner‘s last release was 2022’s Breezy. 11:11 is Brown’s eleventh studio album and has dual discs, both containing 11 songs each, with Side A dropping at 11 A.M. and Side B at 11 P.M. The LP also is dropping during the eleventh month of the year.

The Virginia-native revealed the 22-track list on Monday (Nov. 6) showing musical assistance from Davido, Lojay, Byron Messia, Victoria Monét, Future and Fridayy. He claimed to have added more songs than the original 11 after fans requested an expansion of tracks.

“I see some of my die hard fans wanting me to add more songs for the new project and I love y’all for that. But, I just feel I need you all to really miss me and take my art seriously. IM JUST focused on giving y’all the best to digest. 11:11 make a wish,” he said in a since deleted post.

The 34-year-old shared the official album art on Oct. 21. Check it out below and 11:11‘s full track list here.
