Choose Love 2 does not have an official release date at the time of writing. Moreover, it seems unlikely that it will ever happen.

This is because the film received a mixed to negative reception from critics and audiences, who praised the inventive nature of the film, but criticized the overdone romantic comedy cliches. Netflix only chooses to greenlight sequels for their films if the first one does incredibly well in both viewership and rating, as per their standards. Since Choose Love received a mixed to negative reception, there is a very high chance that a sequel will not be made.

Another reason a sequel will not be made is because of the relatively limited success of past Netflix interactive films such as Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, You vs. Wild, and Escape the Undertaker. As such, Choose Love will very likely only be a one-and-done film for the streaming giant.

Choose Love features Laura Marano in the lead role of Cami Conway. Scott Michael Foster, Avan Jogia, and Jordi Webber play Cami’s potential boyfriends/love interests Paul Swartz, Rex Galier, and Jack Menna, respectively. Other cast members include Megan Smart, Benjamin Hoetjes, Nell Fisher, Blair Strang, and Jacque Drew. Stuart McDonald, known for his work on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and A Perfect Pairing, is the director of Choose Love.
