Moretz had some fun adventures at 26, including when she went to Brooklyn-based tattoo artist Eva Karabudak to get a fine line floral design on the side of her midsection "The Wind Flower" illustration from the classic 1908 book Cupid's Almanac and Guide to Hearticulture for This Year and Next by John Cecil Clay and Oliver Herford.

As she's gotten older, Moretz — who rose to fame at the age of 12 thanks to her role in the 2010 film Kick-Ass — has been more vocal about her experience growing up in Hollywood.

In a 2022 appearance on the Reign with Josh Smith, she opened up about getting "shut down" by older men she's worked with in the past.

She said it was "always really interesting to see who would be really unhappy with a young woman" leading on sets, as she often got to do as a leading actress growing up.

"The majority of it was older men, for sure, who would infantilize me. If I had real things to bring to the table, a lot of the time it would get shot down," Moretz clarified.

The Mother/Android star also opened up to Hunger Magazine in 2022 about her sudden fame after Kick-Ass.

"But after Kick-Ass, the first time I experienced paparazzi, it was 10 to 15 adult guys surrounding a 12-year-old girl," she said, recalling a specific incident. "They pushed my mom and she ended up falling into traffic – she didn't get hurt, but the situation was really chaotic.

"It's an assault on all the senses, with screaming and flashes," she continued. "I got into the car afterwards and I just burst into tears. I think that's my marker of before and after."
