Chipotle slammed, Walmart's home play, Amazon moves into pharmacy market

Chipotle (CMG): Shares are down in early trading. The burrito chain said that it would close up to 65 stores and incur restructuring costs of $115 million to $135 million.

Walmart (WMT): The world’s largest retailer is introducing a 3D virtual online shopping tour of a curated apartment that showcases nearly 70 items from both national brands and the retailer’s private label offerings.

Amazon (AMZN): The e-commerce giant is acquiring online pharmacy PillPack, a service that packages, organizes and delivers drugs. The news is putting pressure on retailers like Walgreens, CVS Health and Express Scripts. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, and it’s expected to close during the second half of this year.
