‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ Creator Says ‘We’re Going to Hell’ in Season 3 – ‘and It’s Very Fun’

If the closing moments of the second season finale of “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” hadn’t already made it clear that the show was going to take an even darker turn next season, then creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa did so Sunday by confirming the fiery setting Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) and co. will be entering when the show returns. “I think it’s safe to say that we are going to Hell, yes,” he told TheWrap during the Television Critics Association press tour. “We’re going to Hell. It’s very fun. It’s very fun. It’s dangerous, but it’s really fun.” For those who need a quick refresher, “Sabrina” Season 2 — which launched in April — ended with the half-human, half-witch teen telling her crew she planned to journey down to hell to rescue her boyfriend Nick (Gavin Leatherwood).
