Children's favorites Bluey and Blippi hitting the road, with stops in Columbus
Bluey and Blippi, both favorites of children from toddlers to age 6, bring their energetic escapades to Columbus in separate shows.
Six-year-old blue-heeler pup Bluey along with her family − father Bandit, mother Chilli and younger sister Bingo − appear in "Bluey's Big Play: The Stage Show" on Sept. 18-19 at the Palace Theatre," while Blippi offers educational antics in “Blippi: Join the Band Tour,” on Dec. 7 at Mershon Auditorium.
Tickets for "Bluey's Big Play" start at $29 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the CBUSArts Ticket Center at the Ohio Theatre, 39 E. State St., online at capa.com or cbusarts.com and by phone at 614-469-0939.
Presales for "Blippi" began at noon on Thursday and tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketmaster.com.
Bluey's stage production is spawned from the Australian animated series, which streams in the U.S. on Disney+, and is one of the country's most-watched TV series with children ages 2-6.

Blippi inspires curiosity in preschoolers worldwide by creating relatable content that makes learning fun. The show has more than 1 billion monthly views across platforms such as Netflix, HBO Max, Cartoonito, Sky, Amazon and YouTube.
In addition to English, the TV show is translated into more than 20 languages, including American Sign Language, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Italian, Hebrew, Arabic, Swedish, Danish, Welsh and Polish.
