Childish Gambino’s ‘The New World Tour’ to make stop in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Rapper and singer Childish Gambino is bringing his new world tour to New Orleans in September.

According to a news release, Gambino’s “The New World Tour” is kicking off with 33 stops in the U.S. on Aug. 11 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and will make a stop at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on Sept. 7.

In addition to the tour announcement, the release states the singer released a new album titled “Atavista (3.15.20 reimagined versions).”

He will be joined by singer-songwriter WILLOW for the North America leg of the tour and singer-songwriter Amaarae for the Europe, U.K., Australia and New Zealand legs of the tour.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 17. The release states fans can also sign up for a presale to get early access to ticket sales. For more information, visit The New World Tour website.
