Childish Gambino Selling Virtual Reality 'Awaken, My Love!' Vinyl

On December 2, Donald Glover will release his third album as Childish Gambino, Awaken, My Love! It will be released on Glassnote. Along with the regular CD, Glover’s website is selling what it refers to as limited edition “virtual reality” vinyl. What exactly makes it virtual reality is currently unknown. “Vinyl pricing subject to change as package content is finalized,” the site says. It comes on two 45 RPM 12” vinyl records, and the order includes a poster and digital downloads of “Me and Your Mama” and “Redbone.” Find more information here. Gambino released his sophomore LP, Because the Internet, in 2013.
