You won't have to wait until year 3005 to see Childish Gambino perform.

Actor Donald Glover, known in the music world as Childish Gambino, has announced his show dates for "The New World Tour", which include a Boston show at TD Garden.

Willow Smith, daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, will be performing on the tour as a special guest with Glover under her stage name, WILLOW.

The tour announcement coincides with the sudden release of Glover's most recent album, "Atavista," a reissued version of his last album "3.15.20" with added tracks and new guest appearances.

Glover is expected to perform at TD Garden on August 23, 2024. The show will start at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the show will go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 17 and can be bought here. American Express Card Members will be able to purchase tickets two days before the public will be able to.

When was the last Childish Gambino tour

The "New World Tour" is his first tour since 2019.

As a rapper and musician, Glover released hits like "3005" in 2013, "Redbone" in 2016 and "This is America" in 2018.

Since the drop of Glover's last album, "3.15.20," he has been generally absent from the hip-hop scene for over four years, save for three featured appearances on three different songs and the release of the official soundtrack for the show he co-created, "Swarm."
