CHIKA Embodies The African Queen She Is In “TRUTH OR DARE” Video Featuring Freddie Gibbs

CHIKA has dropped her latest video for new single “TRUTH OR DARE” featuring Freddie Gibbs.
The visual finds the Nigerian-American artist embodying an African Queen as she walks the land with female warriors. She’s later seen sitting down for a royal meal and passionately orating to a crowd of her followers. The clip later shows Gibbs spitting his impressive verse while seated upon a golden throne.
“’TRUTH OR DARE’ is a brutally honest self-reflection track where I ask myself if the path I’ve chosen is one that will lead to victory, or one that will swallow me alive,” CHIKA has shared regarding the track. “In it, I candidly (and skillfully) discuss my flaws, my fears, and my frustration while trying to keep things rather upbeat.”
CHIKA’s emotional transparency and skills with the pen are definitely on display on the track, as she spits, “I’ll dare myself to be real without fear that I’ll say too much/F**k it, I’m sensitive/ Then I get mad, I get passive, sarcastic/ I know that I play too much, might hit the J too much/ Sue me, I’m human, in flawed, I am fluent/ A hot-headed bitch tearful bi**h, damn it, I’m humid/ I stay stackin’ ammo, I know I won’t use it/ A secret’s a key and I’m likely to lose it.”
Gibbs’ rapid-fire delivery also grabs listeners’ ears as he rhymes, “This loyalty shit is fictitious now/ Only see you when bottles and bi**hes out/ And you do so much d**k-eatin’/ Can’t really tell if you dressed for the hoes or the ni**as now (Haha)/ Ho, how do you feel me now? Cry me a river now/ I wish ninety percent of these rappers/ Would go get a job application and fill it out (Fill it out, yeah)

“TRUTH OR DARE” lives on the MC’s 2023 release SAMSON and follows the release of her last video “DEMIGOD.”
