Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes teases gender reveal for baby No. 2

The Mahomes household shared some happy news in late May.
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes announced that they were expecting their second child. Speaking to reporters for the first time since the announcement, Mahomes filled everyone in on when the gender reveal is coming and on his hopes for what that gender might be.
“I’m extremely excited,” Mahomes said. “The gender reveal is coming up soon. Hopefully we get a boy, but I’ll love him or her either way. It’s going to be awesome.”
Of course, the star quarterback wants a little boy this time around. No matter the gender of the baby, Mahomes is hoping they’ll take cues from Sterling Skye Mahomes and won’t be the wild child of the family.
“Sterling is such an athlete already,” Mahomes said. “She’s so cool, she’s so calm that I just know, girl or boy, it’s going to be the wildest child ever. Hopefully, Sterling teaches her or him the good ways and we can have a nice household at the Mahomes household. Brittany will have her hands full for sure.”
No matter what, Mahomes’ experience with Sterling will certainly help with the newest bundle of joy during the upcoming season.
