It was directed by Sam Fell with a screenplay written by Karey Kirkpatrick, John O’Farrell, and Rachel Tunnard. In the film, “Ginger has found her ideal location, an idyllic island bird sanctuary where the entire flock can live in harmony without any risks from humans, after successfully escaping Tweedy’s farm in a risky and daring way. It seems as though Ginger’s happily ever after has finally happened with the birth of Molly, the couple’s new child. The entire chicken population is now, however, threatened by a menacing and fresh threat on the mainland. Ginger and her team are determined to break in because they are determined to protect their freedom, even if it means risking it.”
