Chicago World’s Fair topic of IUN radio play Friday

The Family Folklore Foundation Inc. is presenting a live radio play called “The 1933 Chicago World’s Fair: If Houses Could Talk,” at Indiana University Northwest at 11 a.m. Friday.

The show is at the Main Stage Theater in the Arts and Sciences building.

Admission is $3 for students and $5 for non-students. Parking is free.

The event includes colorful visuals from the fair, a scenario of the five houses crossing the lake in a barge pushed by Josephine, the Tugboat, and a puppet show of dune flora and fauna.

A book, “Family Folklore Musings: The 1933 Chicago World’s Fair-y Tales” is $10.
