Chicago, Tina Turner and Pretty Woman musicals part of Broadway in El Paso for 2024-25

Broadway's longest-running musical, "Chicago," the "Tina Turner Musical" and "Pretty Woman: The Musical" are part of the 2024-25 Broadway in El Paso series.

El Paso Live and Nederlander National Markets announced the season this week.

The series will include the El Paso premiere of "Beetlejuice the Musical," the Broadway smash hit musical comedy based on the iconic Tim Burton film. The season will close out with the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical, "Hadestown," a haunting and hopeful love story, according to the news release.

Broadway In El Paso is happy to bring back a five-show season with a four-performance minimum, including Friday evening, Saturday matinee, Saturday evening and Sunday matinee.

“We are thrilled to continue the expansion of the Broadway In El Paso series, which proved to be a great success in growing theater audiences and inspiring local community support,” said Jack Meyer, vice president of programming at Nederlander Producing Company of America, Inc. in the release.

Jose Garcia, President & CEO of Destination El Paso, said the desire for arts in El Paso gives them the ability to book top caliber shows direct from Broadway.

"Bringing in popular Broadway titles to the market significantly boosts our local economy, as people from near and far are willing to travel to see these shows," Garcia said. "The economic impact of these shows extends beyond ticket sales, as visitors are contributing to the overall growth of our local economy."

Broadway in El Paso 24-25 shows and dates:

  • Nov. 26-Dec. 1: "Beetlejuice the Musical." Eight performances.

  • Dec. 20-22: "Tina Turner Musical." Four performances.

  • Feb. 28, 2025-March 2, 2025: "Pretty Woman: The Musical." Four performances.

  • March 21-23, 2025: "Chicago." Four performances.

  • April 17-19, 2025: "Hadestown." Four performances.
