“Chicago Med ”Star Torrey DeVitto Is Pregnant, Expecting a Baby Girl with Fiancé Jared LaPine

The couple shared that their baby is expected to arrive in November

Torrey DeVitto is going to be a mom!

The Chicago Med actress, 39, revealed she is pregnant and expecting her first baby with her fiancé, Jared LaPine.

DeVitto announced the happy news on Instagram on Sunday, May 19, showing off her baby bump and sharing in the caption, "Baby girl arriving this November."

In the photo, the actress gazes into her partner's eyes while wearing a white dress and posing with her hand resting on her stomach.

Some of Devitto's Chicago Med costars sent their well-wishes in the comments, with Mekia Cox writing, “Oh my GYAH!!!! 😍😍😍,” and Casey Tutton gushing, “Torrey!! Ahh congratulations!”

Pretty Little Liars showrunner I. Marlene King also chimed in, writing, “Congratulations!! ❤️❤️.”

LaPine also shared the news in a separate post on his own Instagram, which included a photo of a sonogram image. "Welp, here’s to hoping she gets her mother’s genes," the director wrote, before teasing the baby’s expected arrival in November.

In addition to starring in Chicago Med, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Fire as Dr. Natalie Manning, DeVitto appeared in all seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars as Melissa Hastings. Her other acting credits include One Tree Hill and The Vampire Diaries.

When DeVitto and LaPine got engaged in September 2023, she shared on Instagram that she was proposed to during a nature walk.

“Earlier this month at 5 p.m. on a weekday while walking the back trails at the farm, still in my PJs and goat boots, he got down on one knee, in what I hoped wasn’t poison ivy, and asked for forever,” she wrote of LaPine's surprise proposal. “My answer was obvious. ❤️🔒."

That same month, LaPine shared a photo of DeVitto with her engagement ring on display, writing: "On September 1st, I got engaged to my best friend. Now I get to spend every single day as the luckiest man in the world. I love you more than anything and everything."

In February, DeVitto did a bridal photo shoot in New York City, which featured her posing for pictures in two different wedding dresses while enjoying a slice of cake and a celebratory drink.
