‘Chicago Justice,’ ‘Fire,’ and ‘P.D.’ crossover gets personal in sneak peek
It looks like Wednesday’s three-part Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Justice crossover is going to hit a little close to home.
In the exclusive clip below, Justice‘s Assistant State’s Attorney Peter Stone (Philip Winchester) reveals that the daughter of P.D.‘s Detective Olinsky (Elias Koteas) will play a role in the three-hour case. In fact, she was injured in a major fire at an old factory that’s become a live-work space. And, as Fire‘s Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) discovers, the blaze may not have been an accident.
Needless to say, this creates a difficult situation for all parties involved, but especially Sergeant Voight (Jason Beghe), who is known for playing a little fast and loose with the rules — so much so that Stone once put him away.
“The entire State’s Attorney’s office and investigators are at your disposal,” Stone first offers Voight in the clip. But then he warns, “I know Detective Olinsky’s daughter is among the injured, but when I get this case file, it’s got to be legit, by the numbers, and tight.”
After that warning, the look on the face of Voight’s former colleague, Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda, who has moved from P.D. to Justice), says it all.
The three-hour Chicago crossover airs Wednesday on NBC, starting with Fire at 8 p.m., P.D. at 9 p.m., and the series premiere of Chicago Justice at 10 p.m.
