“Chicago Fire”, “Med” and “P.D.” Stars Torrey DeVitto, Joe Minoso, Marina Squerciati and More Unite for a Good Cause

The One Chicago castmates gathered to celebrate a museum exhibit created in partnership with Conservation International

It may be the middle of a strike, but the One Chicago family is still a family. Stars from the Dick Wolf-created franchise reunited under one roof on Thursday evening to raise awareness for an important cause.

Chicago Fire's Joe Minoso and Kara Killmer, Chicago P.D.'s Marina Squerciati and Patrick John Flueger and former Chicago Med stars Torrey DeVitto and Nick Gehlfuss were among those gathered at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago to check out The Blue Paradox, an immersive pop-up exhibit that takes visitors below the ocean's surface to explore the impact plastic pollution has on the planet's largest ecosystem. The exhibit is presented by SC Johnson in partnership with Conservation International.

DeVitto, 39, who played Dr. Natalie Manning from 2015 to 2021, posted several photos from Thursday evening's group exploration of the exhibit on Instagram.

"Feeling inspired after visiting #TheBlueParadox at @msichicago last night!" she wrote in the caption. "Let's lower our plastic footprint, together. This immersive and educational exhibit created by @scj in partnership with @conservationorg needs to be seen to believe!"

Most of the actors who attended on Thursday are original cast members in the One Chicago universe. Minoso has played veteran firefighter Joe Cruz on Fire since the show's debut in 2012; Squerciati and Flueger have portrayed Officers Kim Burgess and Adam Ruzek on P.D. since its premiere in 2014. Killmer has played beloved paramedic Sylvie Brett on Fire since 2014.

DeVitto left Med in 2021, but returned for Gehlfuss's final episode as Dr. Will Halstead earlier this year.

This wasn't the first gathering of cast members since the shows' season finales in May: DeVitto, Squirciati and Med alum Yaya DaCosta were photographed together at New York Fashion Week just last month.

Showrunners and writers of the Chicago-set shows returned to work in early October.

All three shows have been renewed and are expected to return to NBC following the SAG/AFTRA strike. In the meantime, they can be streamed on Peacock.
