Chicago Fire Adds Lauren Stamile as Political Game Changer

McDreamy’s ex has certainly rebounded well: Lauren Stamile, who played Derek’s post-Meredith girlfriend Nurse Rose on Grey’s Anatomy, will be a political dynamo in Chicago Fire‘s fourth season.

Per our sister site Deadline, Stamile’s Windy City character is an alluring, political consultant with confidence for days — and the looks, intelligence and savvy to back it up. The role is heavily recurring, meaning Stamile will be seen often.

The actress’ TV credits also include Community, Scandal, Burn Notice, The Mentalist, Complications and CSI: Cyber.
