Chicago Bulls’ Magician Fools Penn & Teller
A magician named Jibrizy went on Penn & Teller: Fool Us to attempt to trick the magic legends with one of his tricks. In an interview, Jibrizy told the host of the show, How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan, that he is the magician for the Chicago Bulls. It was already strange to learn that an NBA team — other than the Orlando Magic — would have a team magician, but how the Bulls found Jibrizy was even stranger. He said the team found him in the sports section of the newspaper. When Alyson asked what he was doing there, Jibrizy jokingly said, “Not sports.”
Alyson helped Jibrizy with a trick by writing an X on a dime. The magician then took the dime and made it disappear into a packet of sugar. Jibrizy had Alyson tear open the packet and then poured out the sugar and the dime.
Penn and Teller thought they knew how the Bulls’ magician performed the trick, but when Teller went onstage to confirm their thoughts, Jibrizy shot them down. Alyson then exclaimed, “He fooled you,” as Jibrizy excitedly went in for a round of hugs.
Penn & Teller: Fool Us airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on CW.
