Chewbacca vs R2 D2: Best Star Wars Sidekick

We’re pitting a walking carpet versus a rolling trashcan right now on a special Star Wars week episode of Clevver Newsfeed! What’s a hero without a good sidekick and today we’re determining the best in all the Star Wars galaxy. While we love our favorite Star Wars heroes and villains, from Obi Wan to Kylo Ren, we can’t help but feel the not-so-little guys deserve some attention as well. After all, most of our heroes wouldn’t be able to achieve what they do without a little help from their friends. For Han Solo’s case, that’s his trusty partner in crime Chewbacca and for almost everyone else in the Star Wars Universe, that’s our favorite little droid, R2-D2. Each have had their own significant contributions to the universe and today we’re going to decide whether Chewie or Artoo deserves the title of “Best Sidekick.”
