The legendary singer's live feed briefly cut out as she performed her new holiday single "DJ Play a Christmas Song" on NBC.

A holiday spirit of unknown origin attempted (ever so briefly) to mess with budding Queen of Christmas titleholder Cher's live performance at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, begging the question: Is Mariah Carey in the room with us?

All kidding aside, a two-second, Yuletide-colored visual glitch momentarily interrupted the 77-year-old pop icon's rendition of her new holiday single "DJ Play a Christmas Song" — lifted from her latest album Christmas — during Thursday's live broadcast on NBC, appearing on both a national television broadcast as well as a YouTube TV feed viewed by EW.

The moment occurred about halfway through Cher's performance, with the screen switching to show a mix of red, green, and gold colors while the star continued singing. (NBC fixed the glitch in time for the West Coast airing of the parade.)

The rest of the set went off without a hitch, though, as Cher and her festive backup dancers grooved on the streets of Manhattan in a white button-down shirt and black tie styled with glistening pants.

Cher's performance came at the end of the telecast, following others by the casts of several Broadway shows (including Alex Newell and the actors of Shucked) and Brandy.

Beyoncé also made a surprise appearance during the show in a video message that saw her wishing Americans a happy Thanksgiving before introducing a new preview of her Renaissance tour film.
