Cher & Boyfriend Alexander Edwards Weren’t Afraid to Pack On Some PDA at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards
While we have seen Cher and her boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards attend many events together this past year, seeing them so happy often reminds us of how connected they truly are. At the iHeartRadio Music Awards on April 1, they were no different.
On the red carpet, the pair didn’t shy away from PDA as they smiled, rested their heads together and even whispered sweet nothings in each other’s ears.

For the event, the “Believe” singer wore a diamond-encrusted Dolce And Gabbana and Chrome Hearts top with matching black cargo pants. To compliment, Edwards wore an all-black look with a white button-down peaking from underneath.
During the show, Cher, who shares an almost 40-year age gap with her beau, received the coveted Icon Award, presented to her by none other than fellow legend Meryl Streep.
“First of all I feel really blessed and lucky to accept this award and I feel lucky to have people that have stayed with me for all these years,” the singer said as she took the stage. “Most of you weren’t born but a lot of people have.”
“So, when I was young, there was nothing about me that yelled ‘Cher’ you know, so it was about having a dream. I had this dream when I was five years old,” she remembered. “I never gave up my dream and standing on this stage…I love standing on this stage and this is kind of my dream. And I stand there are the music plays and all of a sudden out of my body comes this voice and people seem to like it.”
Cher then concluded her speech with some inspiration for anyone listening. “Have a dream and then don’t give it up no matter what happens because I know from my own experience that if you have a dream and you stick with it, you will have a wonderful life and it probably will come true,” she said.
