Chelsea Handler regrets being so upset with Angelina Jolie, wishes her luck
Chelsea Handler extended an olive branch to Angelina Jolie on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen Thursday night. The longtime friend of Brad Pitt’s ex-wife Jennifer Anniston has had some harsh words for Jolie in the past, even in the midst of the news Pitt and Jolie were splitting up. But it appears Handler has changed her tune.
“I’m upset that I was so upset with Angelina Jolie. I realize she’s probably just trying to do her best too. I mean, obviously I’m not gonna hang out with her but I get it now. I have more sympathy and empathy for people that are like, she’s really a mom and a wife and whatever she is. I’m not sure. But good luck to her.”
Melissa Etheridge was also on the program and revealed to a caller that legendary rocker David Crosby, who donated his sperm for Etheridge’s children with former partner Julie Cyphers, wasn’t the only one in consideration. Brad Pitt, who has six children with Jolie, almost became a father years earlier.
“Brad [Pitt] was considered,” Etheridge told the caller. “He was a very good friend of mine, and then that just seemed really complicated. Like, super complicated.”
