ABC has released the first promo for "The Little Mermaid Live" and we finally get a look at some of our favorite celebs in character.
The live adaptation of the Disney classic looks magical. Auli'i Cravalho looks amazing as Ariel but all the fans were excited to see Queen Latifah as the mysterious sea-witch Ursula.
Latifah was sporting Ursula's classic white hair that sticks straight up and has dark eyeshadow that highlights her captivating eyes.
From the short teaser, you see that Latifah is sporting the necklace she uses to steal Ariel's voice and her form-fitting, strapless gown.
It was a little more jarring to John Stamos as Chef Louis. Dressed like a French chef and wearing a comical mustache.
Auli'i Cravalho and Graham Phillips
Of course, Graham Phillips, who will play Prince Eric, looks dreamy.
Shaggy will play Sebastian the crab but his outfit doesn't look much different than his normal clothes to us.
The live musical event will feature music from the original animated film and the Broadway stage version.
The Wonderful World of Disney's "The Little Mermaid Live!" airs Tuesday, November 5 to honor the 30th anniversary of the animated version.
This production is not to be confused with the live-action feature adaptation starring Halle Bailey as Ariel. That project starts production in early 2020 according to reports.
