Check Out Pics From The ‘P-Valley’ Season 2 Premiere
STARZ celebrated the world premiere of P-Valley‘s second season in Los Angeles on Thursday (June 2). Held at the Avalon Hollywood, “The Pynk” was brought to life with a vibrant reception filled with southern-style food, from shrimp and grits to crab cakes and mac & cheese. Specialty cocktails were served with music from DJ Domo.
A slew of celebrities attended the energetic event. Cast members Brandee Evans, Elarica Johnson, J. Alphonse Nicholson, Nicco Annan, and Shannon Thornton walked the red carpet in their bold-colored attire. The show’s creator, executive producer, and Pulitzer Prize winner Katori Hall joined the crew for some pics.

Grammy Award-winning artist Megan Thee Stallion, who collaborated on a new original song featured on the series’ sophomore season soundtrack, made an appearance. Many notable actors and celebrities including Tasha Smith, Savannah James, Wendell Pierce, and more stopped by the STARZ event.
Other cast members at the event included Miracle Watts, Skyler Joy, Dan J. Johnson, Psalms Salazar, Gail Bean, and others in attendance.
STARZ President, Original Programming at STARZ Kathryn Busby delivered the following opening remarks on the pink carpet: “This show has created a platform where stereotypes are pushed aside and the conversation is centered on visibility and truth. Hall also shared, “I felt that I needed to turn P-Valley into a mirror, into a reflection of things that we have [gone] through these past two years, and that’s why I felt like it was my responsibility to embrace, in season two, the fact that we did this pandemic,” adding, “This season is deeper, is darker, but let me tell you something, it’s a thousand percent better.”
