Check out the Blue Angels' past Vero Beach performances as they fly into town this weekend

VERO BEACH — You don't need to be at Vero Beach Air Show this weekend to see the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. Just look up.

The Blue Angels have been performing at the Vero Beach Air Show since 2014 — except for 2016 and 2020 — drawing thousands to the weekend-long event. The Vero Beach Air Show runs every two years.

This year, the first of the Blue Angels is to arrive on the Treasure Coast at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, with No. 7 flying into the Sun Jet Center at Vero Beach Regional Airport. The rest of the team is scheduled to arrive at 8:45 a.m. Thursday.

They're joined this year by the U.S. Air Force A-10C Thunderbolt II Demo team and a lineup of civilian acrobatic performers. They will be performing Saturday and Sunday.

Here's what to know about the Blue Angels and their history on the Treasure Coast.
