Chase Stokes Celebrates Kelsea Ballerini's Birthday with Sweet Tribute: 'Dirty 30 Looks Pretty Damn Good on You'

The country singer and the 'Outer Banks' star have been linked since January

Kelsea Ballerini is turning 30 with some love from boyfriend Chase Stokes.

The “Blindsided” singer celebrated a new decade on Tuesday with a sweet tribute from her Outer Banks star beau, who shared a carousel of photos to Instagram.

“dirty 30 looks pretty damn good on you ballerini. i love you ❤️,” he captioned the post.

Stokes, 30, shared a mix of high-fashion looks and goofy shots from his camera roll, including a video of the couple singing together in the car, sharing a hug and Ballerini celebrating her big day with a “30” tiara and balloons.

“you really made 29 😍🥹🫶🫠 i love you stokes,” the country singer commented on his post.

Ballerini also got a shoutout from Stokes’ Outer Banks costar Madison Bailey, who commented, “Y’all are so 🥹😭.”

The Grammy-nominated star — who spent her birthday performing at the MTV Video Music Awards Tuesday night — and Stokes are fresh off a trip to the Venice Film Festival, where they attended a party in matching all-black looks.

Ballerini also recently celebrated 30 with a girls trip to an undisclosed tropical location, photos of which she posted to Instagram on Sunday.

She and Stokes were first linked in January, and in July, she opened up about their relationship in an interview with Stylecaster.

“He’s also a Virgo, we’re very similar; we’re both Labrador Retrievers in human form,” she said. “It doesn’t take much conversation to be on the same page, which is nice. It’s been half a year and it’s been great.”

Stokes later reacted to her comments in a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight, joking that he'll "take the job" of Labrador Retriever boyfriend.

"She seriously is the best human being on planet Earth and she's so damn talented," he said. "Just to see her music and her shine in the ways that she is in recent times, it's been beautiful."

Ahead of their very first date, Ballerini filmed a video getting ready and sent it to a friend — and last month, she posted the clip on TikTok, set to her new song “How Do I Do This.”

“OK, here’s the look with the boots,” she said in the video. “We’ve got this hair clip, because we’re trying to be cool girl,” she added. “He’s picking me up and we’re going to a sushi place. I’ll call you tomorrow with the full update.”

The new track features on Ballerini’s six-song EP Rolling Up the Welcome Mat (For Good).
