Chase Chrisley is giving all the praise to his sister Savannah Chrisley.

On Tuesday’s episode of Savannah’s Unlocked podcast, the siblings got candid as they discussed the impact their parents Todd and Julie’s imprisonment for fraud, tax evasion and conspiracy has had on their family. But Chase, 27, took a moment to rave about Savannah's ability to step up, not just as a caretaker to their two younger siblings but also getting involved in the fight for their parents' freedom.

“I am extremely proud of you,” he shared with his younger sister. “The strength that you have had and shown and the example that you’ve set for Grayson and Chloe – it’s very admirable.”

Chase continued, “I could not be more proud of you. It’s outstanding.”

“It’s tough,” Savannah, 26, admitted, prompting her brother to add, “But you have shown, throughout this whole thing, you are that bitch.”

“Well, that is true. That is true, because I’m just not gonna back down. I’m just not,” said Savannah, who was taken over as guardian of her younger brother Grayson, 17, and sister Chloe, 11.

Savannah then offered some insight on how she’s managing her newfound role as a single parent since her parents reported to prison last January.

“At the end of the day, I’m going to stand for what's right. I will lose fans along the way, I will lose friends along the way, I will lose people. And that’s fine,” she continued. “My viewpoint is that really standing up for what’s right is hard. It’s almost impossible. And a lot of people, it’s hard to find the courage to do so, because you’re afraid of what you’re gonna lose. And guess what? I know I can sleep better at night because I know I’m standing up for what’s right.”

Savannah has previously said that being a “bonus parent” to Grayson and Chloe is “tough” but she’s embracing it.

"I'm not their mom. I'm not their dad. I'm their sister and I get to love and guide them through life,” she wrote on Instagram over the summer. “No one could ever add up to their parents.”

In October, Savannah opened up to PEOPLE about how they’ve been coping with their recent life changes, as she said, "Me and Chase show up for them every single day, and I am the one [of my siblings] that's in charge of all of their legal stuff."

“I speak to attorneys every day. I make sure they have what they need while they are in prison, and I show up for them,” she continued.

The siblings' raw conversation on Unlocked, however, comes hours after their parents scored a major legal victory amid their ongoing prison sentences.

On Tuesday, a lawyer for the couple announced they are receiving a $1 million settlement from the state of Georgia to resolve their 2019 federal lawsuit against Joshua Waites, the former Director of Special Investigations of the state’s Department of Revenue.

“We have been saying for months that the criminal case against the Chrisleys was highly unusual and had real problems,” the family’s attorney, Alex Little of Burr & Forman LLP, said in a statement. “This settlement is an encouraging sign.”

After being cleared of their state tax evasion charge in Georgia, Todd and Julie took legal action against Waites in Oct. 2019 for “specifically targeting” the famous family in their state tax evasion charge.

Despite being cleared by the state tax evasion case, the Chrisley Knows Best stars were indicted by a federal grand jury in August 2019 for 12 counts of bank and wire fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy, all of which they have denied.

The reality stars began their respective prison sentences on Jan. 17, 2023, and in September, their original sentences — a combined 19 years — were reduced.

Todd will now be released on Jan. 22, 2033, from the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola while Julie will be released from the Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky on Oct. 19, 2028.
