A Truly Awkward Date
Bombshell's Charlize Theron stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to celebrate her Oscar nomination and to promote the film, and also to share a truly horrific date story. She shared a hilarious story from her 20s that will make everyone who has had a terrible Tinder experience feel al little better.
"I went on a date in my 20s with this guy who was really, super handsome. I was really into it. And he picked me up for dinner, we went and had dinner. It was lovely. I was like, ‘This is going really well.’ And he drove me home, and you know, I kind of signaled that I was in for a kiss."

However, while it seemed like it was time for your garden variety make out session, her date asked for something... particular.
"He pulled over by my house. And we started kissing and it was really good. And then, he pulled away and whispered, ‘Make out with my nose.‘
I swear on my life, I’ve never forgotten it because I’ve yet to meet another person who likes to have somebody make out with their nose.
He was, like, really into it. And I started giggling, ’cause it was good! So, I didn’t want to mess it up, so I gave him a little peck on the nose and he was like, ‘No, make out with it.'"
She's Single
To which Kimmel quipped:
"Wow. The Bachelorette gets a rose, you got a nose."
While she was promoting the criminally underrated Long Shot, Theron talked about her dating life and how she's been single since she broke up with Sean Penn in 2015.
"I've been single for 10 years, it's not a long shot. Somebody just needs to grow a pair and step up. I'm shockingly available."
If Charlize Theron has trouble getting a date, what hope is there for the rest of us?
Theron Doesn't Want To Get Married
While Theron is open to dating again, she knows that marriage is not in the cards for her (just like Oprah!). She told Glamour:
"I haven’t been in a relationship for a very long time," she said. "I never wanted to get married. Those are things that are not hard for me, because they’re innately my truth. I find people are somewhat perplexed by that, and also more with women, right?"
Who needs a husband when you've got a couple of beautiful kids and multiple Oscar nominations, right?
