Season 16 of 'RuPaul's Drag Race' premieres Jan. 5 on MTV

It's time to sashay into an all-new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race!

The season 16 trailer, released Thursday, kicks off by teasing the 14 bold new queens who are joining the Ru-volution. Not only are there fabulous looks and performances in store, but there's also plenty of drama ahead.

"I lived for it but I also hated her for it," says one of the queens while another notes, "I don't want to get in trouble for fighting her bitch ass."

The competition ultimately provides a way for the contenders to live out their wildest dreams — and some of them are much more confident than others about the journey ahead.

"I feel the presence of the season 16 winner in this room," one contestant shares. "I think it's me!"

The queens aren't the only ones bringing in the fun. The new season features an exciting number of major celebrity guest judges, including Sarah Michelle Gellar.

"Ru, I've been slaying bitches forever," says Gellar, referencing her Buffy the Vampire Slayer days.

Charlize Theron is also equally excited to be on the judging panel, even telling one of the queens: "I was seduced!"
