Charlie Puth honored the late Matthew Perry with a sentimental song on Sunday.

During his concert in Melbourne, Australia, the “Attention” singer, 31, paid homage to the actor — who died aged 54 on Saturday — with a piano performance of the iconic Friends theme tune.

In a clip shared by a concertgoer on TikTok, Puth played his rendition of The Rembrandts hit as the crowd in the Margaret Court Arena sang along to the tune. Puth joined in with the crowd as he sang the song’s chorus before uttering the theme's closing line, “Because you’re there for me too.”

He then started singing “See You Again,” his 2015 track with rapper Wiz Khalifa that was written in tribute to actor Paul Walker after his death in 2013, and included in the Furious 7 film.

Puth’s tribute to Perry garnered emotional reactions from fans. “And then he transitions into see you again?!? I’d be on the floor sobbing,” one user wrote in the comment section.

“This gave me full body chills. RIP Matthew Perry 🕊️,” a second person commented, as someone else added, “I’m crying 😭 this is beautiful. RIP Matthew Perry.”

Puth has spoken before about being a lifelong Friends fan, with a particular fondness for Perry on the show. In 2021, he suggested he could play a character close to the late actor before the HBO Max Friends reunion special aired.

"I could play Chandler's long lost son," he told E! News at the time. "People think that I am very similar to him."
