Charlie Brown, ‘SNL Thanksgiving’ & ‘Survivor’ Top Wednesday Ratings

Perennial family favorite A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving once again delivered for ABC, ranking as the top-rated program on Thanksgiving eve among adults 18-49 with a 1.9 Live+same day rating. It was followed by NBC’s two-hour SNL Thanksgiving special (1.6), which rode Saturday Night Live‘s ratings swell this fall by jumping over the previous SNL Thanksgiving special by +45%. CBS’ two-hour Survivor (1.5 in 18-49) was the most watched program of the night with 7.7 million viewers. A new Code Black (0.9) hung tough, only -0.05 off its last original. NBC also aired Macy’s 90th Anniversary special (0.9), while the CW went with The Hollywood Walk of Fame special (0.3). The rest of the broadcast lineups consisted of repeats. ABC (1.4) edged CBS and NBC (1.3 each) to top the night in 18-49, CBS was No.1 in total viewers (7.2 million).
