Charli D’Amelio Says Her Boyfriend Landon Barker and Sister Dixie ‘Bicker Like Siblings’ (Exclusive)

“I just think it's the funniest thing ever,” the TikTok star tells PEOPLE: “Especially when they were doing the same hairstyles”

Charli D’Amelio is opening up about the dynamic between her boyfriend Landon Barker and her sister Dixie.

The TikTok star, 19, tells PEOPLE “my favorite relationship is between Dixie and Landon, 20, because they bicker like siblings,” adding, “but I just think it's the funniest thing ever, especially when they were doing the same hairstyles at the same time and just everything.”

Dixie, 22, says “people would confuse Landon and I,” noting, “and now, Charli and I have the same length hair. He was talking to me the other day. He goes, ‘Oh, my gosh. I thought you were Charli.’ And I was like, ‘Landon.’”

Marc D’Amelio, husband to Heidi and father of Charli and Dixie (they all launched Be Happy Snacks Popcorn, sold exclusively at Walmart and on Walmart.com) tells PEOPLE that dads would presumably “be tough on their daughter's boyfriend, but he's a nice kid, and he's hilarious.”

“That's the thing. He doesn't even realize,” Marc adds of Landon, whose dad is Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. “I think if you asked him if he thinks he's funny, I don't know what he would say, but he is so—”

“He would say yes,” Dixie chimed in.

“He'd be like, ‘Uh-uh,’” Charli quipped.

“But he wouldn't think the reason he's funny is why we think he's funny,” Dixie says, adding, “He just will say a joke, and he's like, ‘I'm hilarious.’ But it's just like his mannerisms.”

“It’s the way he tells stories,” adds Charli, whose sister notes it’s the way Barker “runs around the house. We both have really heavy feet. I don't think anyone knows whether it's me or him walking down the stairs.”

Despite Barker’s comedic reputation around the D’Amelios, Dixie describes him as “the quietest person ever.”

“When we're in the house, it's like, oh, my gosh, what is happening? It sounds like someone just fell down the stairs, and it's just us walking,” she says.

On living life on Hulu’s The D’Amelio Show, Charli says the experience has made her “realize how dramatic I am. I'm like, ‘It really was not that serious.’”

“But it's fun to see cute clips,” she adds. “Because I'm the worst. Contrary to popular belief, I never take photos or videos of anything.”

“And I have a horrible memory, so I never remember things that were going on or events that we went to,” Charli says. “Because we're constantly doing so much, it goes over my head a lot of the time. But when I see an edit of clips from the show of me doing anything, I'm like, ‘Oh, my gosh. I completely forgot that that happened. That was so cute.’”
