Charli Baltimore is opening up about her previous relationship with the late Notorious B.I.G. and how she discovered her alleged on-off again partner was expecting a baby with his then-wife, Faith Evans.

The “Down A** Chick” rapper spoke with VladTV and claimed that she found out Evans was pregnant while she and Biggie were reportedly on a break through his mother, Voletta Wallace.

“I think it was his mom that told me. I don’t even think it was him,” Baltimore, 49, began. “His mom was telling him: ‘You need to tell her what’s going on,’ and I guess he was kind of scared to tell me and if I’m not mistaken it was [Biggie’s mother] that told me. I was just kind of in shock.”

When speaking on the dynamic of their relationship, the former Murder Inc. artist added, “We would have moments in our relationship where we would break up for short periods of time, you know. I think the longest was maybe a month, two months. We definitely will have our little spats and go into our on-again, off-again stage, so I think the way he tried to explain it was, ‘You know, it happened during one of our on-again, off-again situations.’”

Though Baltimore didn’t personally say Big had a “break baby,” she stated, “Well, you know, guys are gonna say whatever they need to say to make themselves look less at fault, when they know they’re really at fault, but I mean I wasn’t there. I don’t know exactly what happened. I just remember how it all unfolded once [his] mom told me.”

The confession follows the “Soon As I Get Home” singer’s appearance on the Marriage or Mirage podcast, where she gushed about how much she loved her late husband.

“Everything. I loved everything about him,” she expressed. “He was honest. You understand? One thing about him, even at that young age… honest! Yo, I respect it. I’m like, I can’t take nothing else… Most of the time I didn’t know what was going on but when I did and I asked him — he told the truth.” Despite the mixed reactions from fans, their love was mutual.

In the May 1997 issue of VIBE, Big spoke on how he married Evans after only knowing her for just over a week. “When I first saw her, she was killing me with those eyes. I rolled up to her and said, ‘You’re the type of girl I would marry.’ She said,`Why don’t you?’ So I was like, ‘F**k it, it’s on,’” he said. “I married her after knowing her eight days and I was happy. That was my baby.”
