While it seems like everyone has turned their backs on Diddy with his recent allegations and lawsuits, there are more and more people coming to his defense. Being careful not to defend Diddy against the heinous accusations, Charlamagne Tha God recently expressed his sadness over the mogul’s legacy being destroyed.

“This is a f**king raid,” he said while watching footage of the raids on the latest episode of Brilliant Idiots with his co-host Andrew Schulz. “I don’t know, man, I just don’t like it. I don’t like it because it’s sad. How many peoples’ legacies have we watched burn to the ground? From Russell Simmons, Diddy…”

Schulz responded saying legacies should be burned to the ground when those people harm others. To counter, Charlamagne offered, “It’s just one emotion? Y’all all lying to yourselves if you say, ‘Yeah good for them, f**k them!’ These guys f**king provided the soundtrack to our lives. They contributed to the culture in real ways before we knew any of this sh*t […] You have feelings, you have mixed emotions.”

Though Charlamagne had a point in saying there are mixed emotions involved — with many fans upset that they feel obligated to no longer play Diddy’s music — there is only so much sympathy people are willing to offer, given the severity of these allegations.

Still, Charlamagne isn’t the only person to speak up on Diddy’s behalf. Ed Lover recently called out 50 Cent for his endless jokes against the Bad Boy founder.

“[A]s much as I love 50, I think 50 is stepping over the line now. I really do,” he said. The radio personality admitted that “funny is funny” and that he even made jokes about the situation, but expressed that the G-Unit leader is taking things too far. “He’s kicking the sh*t out this ni**a while he’s down.”

Ed Lover also agreed with Uncle Luke’s take that Diddy’s months of legal woes stemmed from suing his former liquor distributor, Diageo.

“I believe what I just saw Uncle Luke say earlier today: that this is a machine coming after this dude,” he said. “I think it’s Diageo. Diageo is f**king powerful. They’re the second-or-third-largest alcohol distribution company in the world […] Puff all of [a] sudden decides to sue them for racial discrimination. All of this sh*t comes out right after that. Somebody that got some money are putting their foot in Puff’s ass.”

The Florida rapper hosted an Instagram Live and spoke about what happens when people go up against corporations. “They put you up on a pedestal because they need you. It’s like some pimp sh*t,” he said. “Your mama say, ‘Never bite the hand that feeds you,’ and so this is how the major corporations work. When you try to come after them. Now you put a lawsuit in. Bam! F**k that sh*t, I’m suing their a**. I’m taking their company down […] This man cost that liquor company billions of dollars.”

Diddy’s latest controversy came with Homeland Security raiding his Los Angeles and Miami homes as part of a sex trafficking investigation. He was not present at either residence, and was later found at a Miami airport. His private jet, however, was tracked to Antigua.
