It’s been around four years since It Chapter Two hit theaters worldwide. Since then, fans of the supernatural horror franchise have been wondering whether or not It Chapter Three would happen and if they would see more of the Losers Club.

Is there an It Chapter Three release date?

It Chapter Three does not have a release date. Moreover, it will most definitely not happen.

This is because the story of the Losers Club’s fight against the dreaded Pennywise concluded in It Chapter Two itself. Moreover, the recent film adaptations of Stephen King’s famous novel were envisioned as a two-part story by the creators.

However, fans of the supernatural horror franchise and Pennywise need not be disappointed as they will get to see a prequel series, Welcome to Derry, developed by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Jason Fuchs. It will be set before the events of Andy Muschietti’s It (2017) and It Chapter Two (2019). Moreover, this series will depict the origins of Pennywise the Dancing Clown and show how he came to terrify the residents of Derry, in particular children. This upcoming series will hit the Max streaming service in 2024.

The cast of It and It Chapter Two includes Jaeden Martell, James McAvoy, Sophia Lillis, Jessica Chastain, Finn Wolfhard, Bill Hader, Chosen Jacobs, Isaiah Mustafa, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Jay Ryan, Jack Dylan Grazer, James Ransone, Wyatt Oleff, Andy Bean, and Bill Skarsgard, among others.

Where is It Chapter Three coming out?

It Chapter Three will not be happening. Thus it will not be released in theaters.
