Chappell Roan wants to recruit you!

As a lesbian pop star, Roan is the new princess of gay pop and joined the Lesbian Holy Trinity of Pop Music next to Hayley Kiyoko and Reneé Rapp. As Roan keeps opening for Olivia Rodrigo and continues to take over the world, she's now also recruiting drag artists to join her headlining tour!

Roan posted on X/Twitter that she's looking for drag artists to submit applications to be a part of her upcoming headline shows this summer. She also shared a link where artists can apply and attached the picture of one of the most iconic drag queens of all time, Divine, in the post.

The 26-year-old singer is known not only for her great pop songs, but also for her high femme, drag-inspired look that often includes wigs, pancake makeup, jewels, and costumes. She's now getting even deeper into that world by bringing drag artists to her shows.

Roan has been releasing amazing and deeply queer songs for years, but got her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 this year with her song "Good Luck, Babe!" about crushing on a girl who still insists she's straight.

The song debuted on the Hot 100 at number 77, but has shot up to number 44 — just outside the celebrated Top 40. With the song still climbing, she could have her first mainstream smash hit very soon.

Now that we know that Roan will be backed by drag performers, we're even more excited to see this new tour she's putting together.

Many shows are already sold out — and some dates have venue upgrades to allow for more tickets — so make sure you get yours now!
