Magic Mike star Channing Tatum is planning a trip to The Lost City of D.

Tatum is in final negotiations to be joining Sandra Bullock in a comedy that will see him stepping into a role originally set to be played by Ryan Reynolds in The Lost City of D, according to People.

Bullock and Reynolds were set to reunite 11 years after their romantic comedy hit The Proposal, but Reynolds has since bowed out of the project.

Tatum takes over the role of a cover model who goes on a book tour with a successful romance novelist (Bullock), but they get more than they bargained for.
