We all know Channing Tatum can dance — he’s showed off his special moves for years in everything from Step Up to the Magic Mike movies.

But the 36-year-old actor is adding new skills to his repertoire. He fearlessly displayed his latest endeavor on social media as he admirably, if haltingly, played a portion of Beethoven’s “Für Elise” on the piano after just 2 1/2 of teaching himself.

“Hahaha! Well, keeping my New Year’s resolution to ‘learn new things,'” he wrote. “But teaching myself piano is brutal. Got to get some legit lessons soon. Song is way too hard,” he wrote.

Apparently, he decided to share the video in an attempt to publicly shame himself into getting better, he said. This is the latest in a series of self-improvement moves. Last year, the actor enrolled in Harvard Business School to take an executive education course, saying he had “never considered myself a very smart person, for a lot of reasons,” and was working to challenge himself.

Sounds like a smart guy to us!
