Chandramukhi 2, released on September 28, 2023, is a sequel to the popular 2005 Tamil-language film Chandramukhi, starring Rajnikanth. Things take a terrifying turn after one of the matriarch’s daughters, Priya, moves to the haunted southern part of the Vettaiyapuram palace and inadvertently releases the spirit of the vengeful Chandramukhi, a supernatural entity who constituted the primary antagonist in the first film.

Kangana Ranaut plays the titular lead, Chandramukhi. Other cast members include Lakshmi Menon, Vadivelu, Mahima Nambiar, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Raghava Lawrence, to name a few.
