Chance the Rapper Had the Most Amazing Birthday Cake

By Matthew Strauss.

Yesterday was Chance the Rapper’s 24th birthday. His brother Taylor already made him a song (“Only Brother”) for his special day. He also hosted a birthday party in Chicago last night, which included performances from Ludacris and T-Pain, and appearance by Big Bird. (The event raised over $100,000 for his nonprofit SocialWorks.) To top it all off, he got a custom birthday cake that’s in the shape of some of his favorite foods. It’s a double-decker Harold’s Chicken bucket (with fries and wings falling out) and a kiwi-strawberry Mistic on the side. Check it out below, along with clips of Luda and T-Pain’s performances.

Chance has rapped about Harold’s and Mistic on Acid Rap and Coloring Book. The drink got a shoutout on “Smoke Again,” while Harold’s was mentioned on “Everything’s Good (Good Ass Outro)” and “Summer Friends.” He also conducted an interview with Katie Couric at the Chicago chicken spot.
