Feb. 3 has been added to the previously announced Feb. 2 show. What you need to know:

Will more Austin shows be added?

We knew it might happen. The two Austin shows, a Feb. 16 date in Houston and several other stops were added since the tour began. A quick check of the band's tour dates reveals second shows added in Phoenix, Hollywood and Chicago since last week's announcement.

According to a news release, "During the 'Long Goodbye,' the Eagles –— Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey — will perform as many shows in each market as their audience demands. The tour is expected to continue into 2025."

If demand is there and their schedule allows, The Eagles could add more shows, in Austin and other cities.

What are the Eagles saying about their final tour?

The Eagles have been a band for 52 years, with ups and downs in their history.

“We know how fortunate we are, and we are truly grateful," the band said in a statement about the tour. "Our long run has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed. But everything has its time, and the time has come for us to close the circle. ... We want to give all our fans a chance to see us on this final round. So, scheduling information will be released as dates are set. ... Most importantly, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for embracing this band and its music. At the end of the day, you are the reason we have been able to carry on for over five decades. This is our swan song, but the music goes on and on.”
