MATT HARMON: I'm Yahoo Sports Matt Harmon. Let's take a look back at some of the best individual player performances from what was an awesome and very dramatic championship Sunday. In order to succeed in the NFL playoffs, you need to have players perform beyond what is expected of them. They must show strength, character, toughness, and an ability to endure all that stand in their way. It's time for the "Postseason Player of the Week" presented by Honda. Let's see who was able to rise to the challenge.

Our first nominee is Bucs quarterback Tom Brady, and I know the haters are furious right now because he threw three interceptions. But let's not forget that Brady played awesome and was extremely precise, throwing three touchdowns to get the Bucs that 28 to 10 lead that they eventually secured over the Green Bay Packers. Now, of course, again, most of the Bucs win was due to a really strong defensive effort, and that was highlighted by Bucs linebacker Shaquil Barrett, our next nominee here, who had a team-high three sacks. The Packers loss of David Bakhtiyari at the left tackle position really showed up. Barrett and the guys up front for Tampa Bay got after Rodgers all afternoon.

And our final nominee, of course, is Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. I mean, what more is there to say about this guy? 325 yards through the air, three touchdowns, and he elevated his two star teammates, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, to record setting days. The offense was on fire. He was doing freaky stuff all afternoon, and that is about what we're used to seeing from one, Patrick Mahomes.

And the Postseason Player of the Week on conference championship Sunday? It's Patrick Mahomes, booking his second straight ticket to the Super Bowl. You got to give it to this guy. He's a stud.

And let's not forget, he's not even 100% healthy right now. He's out there with an injured toe, and he's still making plays that just boggle the mind. That's how good Mahomes is. Patrick Mahomes was able to rise to the challenge just like the rugged truck and SUV lineup from Honda. The Honda Ridgeline, Passport, and Pilot are built for strength, endurance, and powerful off-road capability that will blow you away.
