Champions League draw results: Bayern Munich-PSG, Barcelona-Juventus in group stage

The Champions League group stage draw is complete, and it has given us several high-profile clashes early in the competition. Barcelona and Juventus have been drawn together in Group D, and Bayern Munich will play PSG in Group B.

The “Group of Death,” however, might be Group H, where Real Madrid, the defending champion and favorite, is matched with Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham.

Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Roma are also together in Group C.

Here are the full groups:

2017-18 Champions League groups

Group A: Benfica, Manchester United, FC Basel, CSKA Moscow

Group B: Bayern Munich, PSG, Anderlecht, Celtic

Group C: Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Roma, FK Qarabag

Group D: Juventus, Barcelona, Olympiacos, Sporting CP

Group E: Spartak Moscow, Sevilla, Liverpool, NK Maribor

Group F: Shakhtar Donetsk, Manchester City, Napoli, Feyenoord

Group G: Monaco, Porto, Besiktas, RB Leipzig

Group H: Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham, APOEL Nicosia

The group stage begins in three weeks with opening round matches on Sept. 12 and 13. Here is the full schedule:

Matchday 1: September 12-13
Matchday 2: September 26-27
Matchday 3: October 17-18
Matchday 4: October 31-November 1
Matchday 5: November 21-22
Matchday 6: December 5-6

Groups A, B, C and D will kick off the competition on the 12th.

Here are the four pots out of which the 32 group stage participants were selected at Thursday’s draw:

POT 1: Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Benfica, Chelsea, Shakhtar Donetsk, Monaco, Spartak Moscow

POT 2: Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, PSG, Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla, Manchester City, Porto, Manchester United

POT 3: Napoli, Tottenham, Basel, Olympiacos, Anderlecht, Liverpool, Roma, Besiktas

POT 4: Celtic, CSKA, Sporting CP, APOEL Nicosia, Feyenoord, NK Maribor, FK Qarabag, RB Leipzig
