Ring in the New Year: The Cove is saying hello to 2024 with a New Year’s Eve buffet dinner, as well as live music provided KG Express, and more! Their menu includes passed hors d’oeuvres, like chicken satay, crab cakes, and lobster rangoon. Plus, there will be food displays for guests to pick from, like fresh fruit, charcuterie, and shrimp cocktail. There will also be a carving station for prime rib and turkey. Ring in the New Year: The Venus is celebrating New Year with dinner and dancing. Featuring John Perrotta’s Comedy Factory, Bill Simas, Stacey Kendro, Rockin’ Joe Hebert, and UpBeat Entertainment, it will be a night of comedy as well as dancing. There will also be passed hors d’oeuvres and a buffet. The buffet menu includes salad, prime rib, Venus baked scrod, chicken Cordon Bleu, Delmonico potato, rice pilaf, and desserts like a cookie table. Doors open at 6, the buffet is at 6:30, the comedy showcase is at 8, and the party is at 9 p.m. There will be a champagne toast at midnight. Ring in the New Year: Primavera is hosting a New Year’s Eve party from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., with entertainment by DJ Stevie. The evening’s menu includes appetizers, soup, bacalhau Gomes de Sá, roast beef with potatoes, seafood rice, and desserts. At midnight, there will be champagne, as well as caldo verde (kale soup). Ring in the New Year: Two parties. Two buffets. One ticket. A ticket to New Year’s Eve at White’s will get you access to both of the parties they’re throwing. GS DJ will be spinning some old school classics from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s at one party, and the other party will feature today’s hits with DJ George Ayoub Jr. White’s will have a grand buffet, noisemakers, champagne, and a post-midnight buffet with Chinese food. Bittersweet Farm Restaurant and Tavern, Westport

Ring in the New Year: Bittersweet Farm is hosting a New Year’s Eve celebration in the tavern. Their kitchen will be open from 3 to 10, and they’ll have live music from Bad Penny starting at 8:30 p.m. The last seating for guests will be from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., and only these guests will be able to stay for the entire night. New Year’s Day walk at the Let Conservation Area, Westport

Ring in the New Year: After all that partying, it will be nice to get outside and greet the first day of the New Year with some fresh air and natural beauty. The Westport Land Conservation Trust is holding a New Year’s Day walk at the Let, from 10 a.m. to noon. Wear comfortable, sturdy shoes, and be prepared to walk 3 miles-plus over some uneven terrain. The walk will be canceled in the event of rain, snow, or temperatures below 15 degrees. Event updates will be available on Facebook. They recommend you bring water as well, but note that there are no restrooms. The walk is open to the public with a $10 recommended donation, and there will be free parking available at Sylvan Nursery.
