The Challenge: USA is coming back for a second summer of epic endurance tests and bloody hall brawls, only this time, the CBS newbies must contend with some of the franchise’s greatest competitors ever.

Season 2 (which premieres Thursday, Aug. 10 at 10/9c and continues Sunday, Aug. 13 at 9/8c; watch the trailer embedded above) will pit some of the most famous faces from Survivor, Big Brother and The Amazing Race against six of MTV’s all-time legends for the ultimate battle of strength and skill. Among the powerhouses from MTV are former champions Jonna Mannion Stephens and Wes Bergmann, in addition to Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio, the player with the most Challenge franchise wins ever.

Stepping up to the plate for their first at-bats are BB20 runner-up Tyler Crispen, Survivor‘s Cassidy Clark and The Amazing Race‘s Dusty Harris, plus a few who competed in CBS’ first Challenge iteration. Returning USA challengers including Survivor‘s Michaela Bradshaw and Desi Williams, Big Brother 23’s Tiffany Mitchell and more.

Season 2 will take place in Croatia, and will once again be hosted by T.J. Lavin. For the first three weeks, the show will air on both Thursdays and Sundays; beginning Thursday, Aug. 31, it will air in its regular 10/9c time slot.
