Chalker, Matthews lead the way at HCC Turkey Trot 5K

Hagerstown Community College sophomore Iggy Chalker, a five-time NJCAA All-American, led the way on his home turf Thursday morning, winning the men’s title at the 21st annual HCC Turkey Trot 5K.

Boonsboro High School sophomore Caroline Matthews, the Maryland Class 1A state runner-up in cross country this fall, was the female champion.

Overall, there were 661 finishers.
