Denji touches Power’s chest for the first time, and her padding falls off. After touching her chest two more times, he seems to be at a loss. While signing various paperwork, Makima notices that something’s off with Denji. He opens up about finally getting something he wanted but only for it to feel anticlimactic. After Denji gets into more detail, Makima makes him touch her as she explains her thoughts. She also asks Denji to defeat the Gun Devil. As a reward, she’ll grant him a wish. Currently, they have bullets from the Gun Devil as a lead. She also explains how they work since the pieces stick together.
Tokyo Special Division 4 goes on a mission involving a powerful devil that probably ate a piece of the Gun Devil. Before entering the hotel, Himeno says she will reward whoever kills the devil. Denji says he has other motivations, so Himeno raises her reward for him. The squad enters, and they eventually encounter a devil. Himeno stops the devil from attacking Kobeni, and Power slices it in half. Himeno reveals she has a contract with the Ghost Devil, so she can use its right arm. After a while, the squad realizes that they seem to be stuck on the eighth floor.
