Chainsaw Man chapter 165, titled “Everyday Scenery,” shows the aftermath of Denji’s request to eat sushi. Asa and others board a train with the protagonist to take him to the best sushi restaurant after Denji finds himself saddened by the body of a Pseudo Chainsaw Man.

While Fami and Nobana discuss the best sushi restaurant they could visit, Denji hopelessly sits in his seat. He asks Asa why she wants to fight him, and Asa tells him that fighting him and winning will help save Denji’s life. This prompts Denji to ask if Asa is being brainwashed, which flusters the latter.
